The historic Graefenburg Community Cemetery has received a facelift and a sign thanks in part to the formation of a non-profit corporation to manage its upkeep.  All three local churches now contribute funds to this organization.  The cemetery is located just south of the church, across Goose Creek, on Crab Orchard Road.  Family and friends may also make tax-deductible donations for cemetery maintenance by sending checks to: Graefenburg Community Cemetery LLC, 394 Elmburg Road, Shelbyville, KY 40065.  Note this number on check: EIN #47-4463447.   Visit the cemetery website at:

FATHERS DAY OUTDOOR SERVICE - A special Father’s Day Outdoor Service is held on the creek bank on third Sunday in June.   We all enjoy singing, preaching, and eating good food off the grill in a camp-like setting.  It is great to see the extended family members gather together in worship, and to celebrate Father’s Day.  This an annual occurrence.

Bro. Glenn painting at the Colonial Hall Manor on Henry Clay Street in Shelbyville.  We have included this home on our visitation schedule throughout the coming year.  Additional work projects are planned for the home.  Help is always appreciated.

UMCOR MISSION: Our church assembled 24 flood buckets and 20 hygiene kits for flood relief efforts along the Gulf Coast.  Extra mops and bleach were donated to the Methodist Mountain Mission in Jackson, KY.
